Michael Purcell Jr. 920438756 English 202B Section 016 I was on my way home from a party early Sunday morning. It was about three o’clock. The air was crisp, the sky was dark, and the roads were clear of any other drivers. I near closer and closer to home and I am driving a bit reckless. As home nears, I speed up around the curved road and…BAM!! At five o’clock in the morning, the Graham family receives a knock at their door by the State Police. The officers explain to Mr. and Mrs. Graham, “We are sorry to inform you that your son David was in an accident. As he was driving, he lost control of his vehicle, and drove into a tree. As he impacted with the first tree, he was partially ejected through the windshield as the car proceeded to whip around and smash into another tree. He was pronounced dead when we arrived to the scene. We are sorry for your loss.” Dave Graham died the early morning of August 19, 2007. He was a great son, a loving brother, and one of the best friends I have ever had.
