Tiffany Douangpanya 09/06/2017 Stress Lab 1 1) I’ve never tried this technique before. However, I can recall some times when I’m in a stressful situation or even when I’m extremely mad, I would pull myself to the side and breathe in and out. I would control it because it would help me calm down. 2) I honestly was a little confused, mentally, before we started the exercise. I didn’t understand why and how it would benefit us doing this after class. I thought to myself, “I’m not even mad or anything, how is this relevant?” Emotionally, I was kind of ‘whatever’ about it. And physically, I just wasn’t relaxed enough for the exercise. 3) During the exercise, I noticed that it was really hard for me to stay focused. Also, it was really hard for me to get relaxed. I found myself wandering in my thoughts, I couldn’t stay still, and I kept peeking through my eyes. My heart wasn’t racing, but it was beating faster than usual. I’m really confused about why this happened to me, because everyone else seemed like they were fine. My assumption is that I’m not used to
