I, Seilin Gonzalez, verify that I have completed 25 practice hours in association with the
goals and objectives for this course. I also verify that all required course approvals are in place
from my faculty Vitas Hospice and practice mentor Lazaro Pedrol. The first 15 hours of this
session were spent in attending the invalids that had breast cancer with the guidance of my
mentor. In this case, I observed that one had to have competency regarding the application of
science studies and liberal arts to the nursing knowledge. At the same time, I realized that the
process of nursing was crucial in ensuring that the cancer patients received effective and safe
care for invalids within Vitas Hospice (Lynn, Taylor & LeBon, 2016). In cases where an invalid
demonstrated that he or she was uncomfortable, I had the obligation of ensuring that they attain
