PRACTICE HOURS COMPLETION STATEMENT NRS 2
I, Seilin Gonzalez, verify that I have completed 25 practice hours in association with the
goals and objectives for this course. I also verify that all required course approvals are in place
from my faculty Vitas Hospice and practice mentor Lazaro Pedrol. Based on the 25 hours of
practice, it is heeded that various course objectives as well as competencies have been garnered.
One of the goals of Grand Canyon University’s RN-BSN program, is that a student ought
to be able to integrate professional values in order to enhance the nursing profession by political
involvement, leadership skills, as well as life-long learning. While practicing in Vitas Hospice
during this period, I have been at a position of managing patient care. In particular, I have
managed pain among invalids that are affected by terminal illness such as advanced heart
diseases and cancer (Lynn, Taylor & LeBon, 2016). Apart from pain management, I have also
