Casey Rohwein Dr. Roehrle AP Lang B 2 November 2017 Symploce Asyndeton Show, don’t tell At the age of 16 I began to learn how to drive. My dad had suggested I start by learning on a manual so I could drive every car I would come across. Learning how to drive a stick shift was very difficult. My dad had warned me how long it would take to be able to drive a stick shift but I was very determined to learn. I figured even failing to learn how to drive a car was better than not driving at all. My first driving lesson was sitting in my car in an empty parking lot attempting to just start the car without stalling out. I failed almost every time. My second driving lesson was trying to shift into second gear without jolting the car. I failed almost every time. Learning to drive a manual continued like this until I finally mastered it which I can admit, took quite some time. Eventually I mastered starting the car without stalling most of the times that I tried and being able to shift through all six gears, even if it wasn’t the smoothest of shifting.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
