Professor HoQuyen DinhPsyc 2301My Psychology Course: In RetrospectWhen you think of studying psychology, do you envision boring dry theories that are filled with ofabstract concepts? It was precisely what came up with my mind before this class. Nonetheless, this classhelped me achieve a greater understanding about behavioral and cognitive characteristics of human inthe most inspiring and absorbing way. As I sit down recalling the three-month period of my Psychologyclass, there is no trace of the fear of learning in a totally new language but a motivation to attempt toobtain the highest possible grades in this class. Not only did I attain the fascinating knowledge from thisclass, but I also had a chance to comprehend myself and others better to be able to modify our actionsappropriately. It is quite satisfactory to look back my whole performance as well as achievements that Igained.In the very first lessons, I was taught about three major types of learning including the classicalconditioning, the operant conditioning, and the observational learning. It is undeniable that due to thislecture, I realized that these learning methods are applied subconsciously to the most ordinary activities
