Surname1 Name Institution Date Incentive theory The incentive theory suggests that reinforcements and incentives motivate individual behaviors. Behind every action, there is a motivation that pushes one forward; it could be internal desires or external rewards. The incentive theory guarantees of an incentive that is provided for greater action. In a high stress-working environment, the incentive theory can motive workers significantly. They use of incentives brings in additional motivation due to the benefits that come along. In such an environment, remuneration and job promotion can be given to the employees as a way of recognizing their achievements and encouraging them to perform better ( Steinbach, Adam L., et al., 1701) . It is evident that both remunerations and benefits do encourage employees to accomplish greater targets. On the other hand, the use of non-Monterey incentives does encourage workers.
