This basically re-established segregation. In the school system this gave African Americans less availability to knowledge, because most blacks at this time were not well educated. 2. Brown v Board of Education was a rebuttal of Plessy v Ferguson . This law was established in 1954 . The court ruled that separate but equal was unconstitutional in public schools. This integrated schools and allowed fair education to everyone, like public schools today. 3. Elementary & Secondary Education Act as a part of President Lyndon B. John’s war on poverty campaign, this law was passed in 1965 . The intention of this law was to improve education for students in lower-income families. ESEA funds primary and secondary education. 4.
