The Cold War began at the end of World War II and continued for most of 20th century. This war wasn't like any war with violence and many casualties, but it was more of a verbal war. The war consisted serious threats and great competition. After the Cold War ended, it left a lot of good and bad consequences behind. The Cold War had greatly impacted American lives and their social patterns. Men and Women had to go back to their traditional roles before World War II. As men returned from war, they went back to their old jobs and women then went back to working on their homes. They again worked in their kitchens, cleaned their homes, planted gardens, and took care of children. Women weren't allowed to do anything but be at home and take care of their wife duties.
