2 RHETORICAL ANALYSIS In order for an author to reach out to their audience, they must use ethos, pathos, and logos. With the correct use of these three things, they are able to make an effective argument that reaches out to the readers and their audience. In order to see if the article, “Drug Overdose Deaths Continue to Soar”, I choose reaches out to their audience I will be analyzing the strengths and weakness of the use of ethos, pathos, and logos within their article. I will also be looking at what issues have been addressed to the audience and if the test is bias or not.
