GOSPEL ESSENTIALS2IntroductionThe Christian worldview is one of the largest religions all over the world. The Christian worldview is a theistic worldview which means believing in one God. Following in the Christian religion is believing that God is the Father, the Son, and The Spirit. I believe in the Christianity faith and I am living my life in God’s word so I can go to heaven and live with God for eternity. GodGod is love and grace. To understand God’s nature, he is the maintainer of the universe and the creator of all things. Any person who believes in God and believe that they truly know who he is, trust in him that he is their lord and savior. God is very misunderstood and gets blamed for a lot of things he did not do, and does not get recognized for things he does do. God has every one of his people strategically placed in society to serve a purpose. According to the article, A Comparison of Christians' Concepts of Jesus Christ and God, author Jeremy P. Cummings states that “Christian doctrine teaches that God consists of three divine persons-God the Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit-all of whom equally qualify as God and are collectively called the Trinity” (Cummings, 2017, p. 1). God is a God of justice. He will continually make anything that is bad turn into something good. Another characteristic of God is that he is good. This is a trait that will always be a firm stance on who God is. God is perfect and good at all times and that is something that no one but him can do. God is holy. Meaning, he is righteous and is always right and has a plan for everyone. These three traits about God are not the only good things about him, but they are the significant and most powerful traits that describewho he really is. In John 3:16, it says that “For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16 The King James Version). God created all of mankind to glorify him.
