During this project I saw a lot of interesting things. I was able to experience
the different cultures and interest of my fellow classmates. It gave me
insight into their world and allowed me to see how they related to a specific
culture on a personal level. I feel that it was a great exercise. Everyone was
very open to sharing their cultures and did a great job relating it to their
lives. As far as my own project goes, I feel as though I did well making the
connection between my culture and how it is important to me. The values of
my culture are aspects such as good sportsmanship, honesty, confidence,
and humbleness. These are important because they exist outside of boxing
(the culture I chose to identify with) and carry over into the everyday world.
These characteristics aren’t just the characteristics of a great boxer but also
that of a great person. I thought this was very important because oftentimes
