Artificial organs are a part of Regenerative medicine that doctors use to treatpatients. The waiting list for an organ donor can be long and lengthy and somepeople die before an organ they can use become available. Bio-artificial organsare organs grown from cells (including stem cells) from the patient whichreduces some of the many issues that a person may experience while on a donorlist. An organ may become available but if the patient that needs that organ is nota match then the transplant won’t succeed.
