Human Resource Management: involves the design and implementation of the policies and practices to attract, retain and develops a company’s employees. This course introduces you to key Human Resource Management (HRM) principles, procedures and methods that I use effective leading-edge companies to staff, develop, manage and compensate the employees for high performance. HRM knowledge that will enable you to put into effect to be and effective manager. Job seeker, job interviews with communication. Manage career, training and career opportunities. Objective: 1. To increase your understanding on issues and problems associated with employee selection and development as well as the design and maintenance of an effective compensation system. 2. To enhance your knowledge and understanding on critical legal issues associated with Equal Employment Opportunity. 3. To acquaint you with the current literature in human resource management to prepare you for continuous learning and higher education in the future. Course Design: Each Unit includes the following: 1. Lecture Videos: key HRM principles, processes and methods 2. Knowledge Checks (2-3 questions) a. Can be taken as many times as you would like 3. Unit Quiz (10 points/quiz) a. Open book b. HR plan, plan and organize hiring and training, compensation and benefits program, manage employee performance through legally comply performance management system. MGMT 451 – Organizational Behavior - Interpersonal behaviors (motivation, conflict management, teamwork, leadership) This course: - Build upon and extend the behavior to attract new hires, retain and motivate employees towards high performance (HR plan, hiring & training, compensation & benefits, managing employee behavior). You will have less interpersonal problems or poor work behaviors. HRM Functions HR Planning: begin understanding the companies strategic direction and then plan for the skills the organization needs so the organization can achieve its strategic objectives. Establishing the types of employees and skills to meet these objectives.
