March 2, 2007 DRAMA 116 Mock up- deals with costumes. It is a robe to practice with so that when you get the real robe it will feel like the real thing. Glow tape- Used for spike mark ups. When the lights go off the stage will have the glow tape so people can see at night. Make up- guys usually don’t do it but woman wear there street make up Sides- Sides are sides from the script, excerpts. They have people audition reading them to see if the yare right for the role. Usually you have to go early to practice them Callback- the people who are hiring call you back and see to who they should pair the auditioned up. Grid- The grid that hangs the instruments from the ceiling. People can identify where things are on the grid it looks like a grid Mark- a place to be wherever the actor is. A place on stage crucial in film and on stage. Entrance- part of blocking when a character enters. Line Through- The director is agitated the actors don’t know their lines so the director says he wants to have a line through all day long if they have to until the actors can recite
