Gender Discrimination 2 Introduction The unequal treatment of a person based on gender is referred to as gender discrimination. It exists in different forms such as sexual harassment. These bias treatments can be found in the sporting field, academic, class assignments, grading, and other platforms. Gender discrimination is a reality that takes place in the workplace even though there are Civil Rights Act and the Equal Pay Act that has been in existence for nearly 50 years. There are quite some large groups of people still feel that they are being denied their rights such as promotions, pay raises, and mistreatment from the seniors as well as coworkers (Leskinen et al., 2015, p. 198). Women are the most affected by gender discrimination even though it is possible for everyone to be discriminated against due to his her gender.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
