Running Head: 9 Point of Security 2 The IT security policy assists in the protection of your data from cyber breaches. It denies unauthorized access to restricted areas. Any company, office or country must protect its data. 9 Points of Security Dedicated devices A device which contains classified information must be used cautiously. The device must be exclusive and only used for classified information. A different device should be used for everything else. The dedicated device is not allowed for personal use. Device administration A server that holds classified data and information without regard to the period of withholding must be fully monitored by security management[Mar14]. Access to the server must only be by the service team and security management. Members of the staff cannot have rights to hold devices that store classified information.
