INTRODUCTION In an organization, a leader always plays a very important role, an organization that can not exist without a leader. So how to become a successful leader? There are many factors that influence but "leadership psychology" is the basis for achieving that goal. Leaders can appear in every position, from important people to ordinary people such as president, president, chief, officer, captain, parish priest. Leadership can always be seen in groups or organizations as a representative, leader, capable of directing people, and deciding on internal activities. CONTENT I. Theory 1. Temperament: Temperament is the expression of intensity (strength or weakness), speed (fastness), the pace of activity in behavior, gestures, speech. Temperament is innate, genetic, expressed in the structure of the nervous system. When considering the activity of the nervous system, it is often considered the process of excitement and inhibition. The nervous system can be divided into strong nervous system and weak nervous system. There are four basic types of temperament: 1. Flexible temperament : The nervous system is strong, balanced and flexible. Individuals with this temperament are often quick to recognize, quick to react quickly but not deeply, enthusiastically involved in any task, adaptable to new circumstances, Page | 2

cheerful, optimistic, impatient or unfinished job. 2. Temperamental temperament : It is a nervous system that is strong, balanced and not flexible. Individuals with this temperament are slow to respond, slow to respond to stimuli, calm, mature in work, persistence, careful, steady working, discreet, high self- esteem, or hesitant should miss the opportunity, adapt to the slow environment. 3. Temperament temper : is strong and unbalanced balance of kidneys.
