Chapter 3 METHODOLOGY This chapter contains the research methodology. It presents the following: method of research used, sources of data, instrumentation and data collection and tools for data analysis. System Methodology In developing the proposed system, the proponents used the Feature Driven Development (FDD).According to McDonald (n.d)the method shows that the proponents can spend a short amount of time at the beginning of the project to establish a clear understanding of the domain in which they are working and use that understanding to formulate a rough plan without getting stuck in analysis and design paralysis. Designing feature-driven development requires simpler design which is to develop only the required and requested features. These are the advantages of using FDD: a)It focuses on continuous process, integration and small releases, which reduces conflicting changes and shortens feedback cycle by providing rapid feedback and fixes, b) helps in reducing risks using shorter iterations of designing, understanding of the requirements and the system in a clear and distinct way, thereby leading to a state

Methodology 36 where there are no ambiguities, as the needs and expectations are already understood very well, and c) provides a flexibility of changing the requirements at later part of the game("Agile - Feature Driven Development", n.d). FDD consists of five sequential processes during design and development of business solution. The five sequential processes include: 1. Develop an Overall Model. This phase begins by developing an overall model for the project, in order to establish the scope of the system and provide a common understanding of the domain.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
