ASSESSMENT TASK 8 – Evaluate plans and review individual performance QUESTION 2: Work Performance Appraisal The performance review of the Certificate III trainees will be very different from the performance review of experienced educators. A traditional performance appraisal with a one size fits all approach is clearly not going to achieve the same outcomes as a performance review tailored to reflect the different roles, qualifications and experience of team members. QUESTION 3: Poor workplace performance Unsatisfactory work performance, that is, a failure to perform the duties of the position or to perform them to the standard required. Non – compliance with workplace policies, rules or procedures. Unacceptable behaviour in the workplace. Disruptive or negative behaviour that impacts on co – workers. QUESTION 4: 5 step process in addressing poor performance suggested by The Fair Work Ombudsman: Step 1 – Identify the problem - It is important to understand the key drivers of performance or underperformance within the workforce. - It is also important to correctly and specifically identify the problem. Some common reasons for underperformance are identified later in this guide. Step 2 – Assess and analyse the problem - The employer should determine: How serious the problem is How long the problem has existed, and How wide the gap is between what is expected and what is being delivered.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
