Instructions Part A Group presentation Students will be advised to get into groups of 4 or 5 and to conduct a work meeting on diversity in the workplace. Each member of the group should take a turn at leading a topic. The trainer will observe and listen to the meeting to ensure all topics are covered and all criteria is met. Topics to discuss during the meeting 1. What is diversity? 2. Different types of diversity and what they mean. 3. Own culture. Each member to reflect and share their own culture, attitudes, language, policies and structure and how these may impact their interactions with others. 4. How to ensure awareness, safety and competence in regards to culture 5. Diversity in Australia and how this impacts work 6. How diversity impacts individuals politically, socially, economically and culturally. You must demonstrate the following communication skills and understanding of diversity. How to lead the topic.
