Econ Unit 4 Portfolio By: Emily Strauss Money and Banking discussion questions: 1. The two factors that are important are time and interest. 2. Corporate profits will rise if demand for products rises. 3. People put money in savings accounts before stocks because they are a safer and more reliable place to store money. The interest rate on stocks may be high but people must take a risk to put money into stocks and many people would rather rely on the savings accounts. 4. I disagree with this statement. Although stocks have high interest rates, the market is always changing and people commonly make mistakes with their investments and lose money.
