EPE Assignment 2 Assessing the Environmental Systems for a Place in NJ Name: Renee Handley Directions In this assignment you will explore the environmental systems that make up a place in New Jersey of your choice. It can be where call home or somewhere else that you find special. It must be a place that you have spent enough time so that you are familiar with it. You will explore your NJ place using NJ MAP Watershed Explorer (a mapping tool produced at Rowan). Fill in the answers in this document and past a few screen shots and then upload as a word document to Blackboard. What is your special place? Camp Sacajawea 2996-3064 Victoria Ave, Newfield, NJ 08344 Exploring NJ Through Maps Open up NJ MAP Watershed Explorer. Try clicking on the Theme Bars on the left to see the map layers that are visible in each map Theme. You can try and turn them on and off to see what the layers look like. Find the location of your special place: 1. Click on the Search menu and type in the address of your special place. Find your location point and zoom in. Change the background Map Click on the background layer icon. Change the background map to "Bing Aerial". Can you see your location?
