F305 Exam #1 Review Chapters 13, 14, and 15 Exam #1: Tuesday, February 6 th , 2018 Exam #1 will cover chapters 13, 14, and 15 of the textbook. It will be in class, closed book and closed notes. Any required formulas that I feel are too difficult to remember will be provided to you. You will need a financial calculator to solve some of the problems – please remember to bring it with batteries fully charged. No cell phones or other electronic devices are allowed on the desk. Extra calculators will not be available and you will not be able share a calculator or anything else. For each application problem, to receive full credit your work must be neat, legible and your final answer must be clearly noted (circled is best.) Partial credit may be given based upon the quality of your work but will be at my sole discretion. I will not entertain debate over any partial credit. When solving the problems, do not round off your intermediate answers. Carry these to four decimal places. All final answers should be rounded to 2 decimal places. The following sections of the text are fair game: Chapter 13 : Leverage & Capital Structure – 13.1, 13.2, 13.3, 13.4, 13.5, 13.6, 13.7 Chapter 14 : Dividends & Dividend Policy – 14.1, 14.2, 14.3, 14.4, 14.5 Chapter 15 : Raising Capital – 15.1, 15.2, 15.3, 15.4, 15.5, 15.6, 15.7, 15.8, 15.9

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
