Asthma/Inhalers 2 Abstract ( Third person needed for APA) My teaching project involves educating unlicensed personnel on an introduction to asthma and the proper use of a common short-acting and long-acting inhaler. I will discuss the definition of asthma along with effects on airways, possible triggers and symptoms. During teaching we I will review the parts of an inhalers, the indications, proper techniques and storage. Before the material is presented a pretest will be conducted. The information will be presented through use of a PowerPoint presentation that follows handouts which include visual aids. Proper technique will be demonstrated on sample inhalers. A posttest will be conducted after the presentation. (I LOVE the pretest idea! This is a wonderful way to see if teaching has been effective. Wonderful job)

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
