Executive Project Proposal Abstract Medical Solutions Systems is a new startup medical research and development company that has seen a very successful five years. With all the success that the company has been experiencing there has been an equal rise in the number of clients. With all the success that Medical Solutions Systems has been experiencing, they have also experienced some negative backlash with competitors and cybercriminals. The proposed goal of the company is to ensure that their network is both reliable and secure. Medical Solutions Systems needs to review any and all possible network vulnerabilities and render them moot. The long term goal in the end for the company is to continue with the success and growth. Recommendations Medical Solutions Systems had been victims of multiple DoS attacks of the course of a nine month span. These attacks forced the company to halt interactions with customers and the daily processes that occur. These attacks had let to poor reviews of the company and the loss of intellectual property, while these attacks occurred Medical Solutions Systems continued to progress and grow. The data that is stored by the company should be audited before any security measures are placed to ensure that only the most essential data is protected. Next, the type of data needs to be profiled and classified as public, confidential or secret. Not all data is created equal and some may not require confidentiality, such as sales brochures.
