RECRUITING AND STAFF PLAN Introduction Recruiting and staffing are an essential part of any organizations human resource department. Recruiting and staff strategies and plan are therefore essential to a firm’s success. A recruiting and staff plan or strategy simply refers to a plan of action that involves an organization’s attempt to identify, recruit and finally hire candidates who are well qualified for a particular position. This strategy is centrally undertaken or implemented with the purpose of filling an open position. A recruiting and staff plan may extend to involve search consultants sometimes known as recruiting agencies that the particular organization enlists in its efforts of hiring[Sar90]. The BC Human Rights Code enlists some of the legal issues that a recruitment and staff plan should consider.
