This statement implies that, a company should know what is right and what is wrong, and act in the right way accordingly. When companies do not follow a good sense of ethical behavior, often legal issues could result. For example, Wells Fargo Bank is currently under a civil class action suit, due to them opening accounts in people’s name without their consent. That is one example of how bad ethical decisions play out, and it is a no-win outcome for companies who do this.
