Natural disasters and extreme weather hit organizations of all sizes in a huge way. Natural disasters such as earthquakes, wildfires, floods, and hurricanes cause serious loss which in turn seems to be bad for the economy. Coming to organizations, natural disasters destroy assets such as buildings and machinery – as well as human resources – and thus results in the decreasing the production range. These natural disasters which are caused knowingly or unknowingly have an adverse effect on the organizations which may result in force shut down of the firms. According to recent news on research, it can be seen that catastrophic issues result in the greater loss to the small businesses.Small businesses once hit by a storm has tremendous consequences which may be long-lasting and sometimes permanent. Whether it is an earthquake or floods or hurricanes a natural disaster can cause a severe damage to the businesses which may be for days, weeks and sometimes it may be for months also.And the loss incurred is greatest to the businesses in the immediate area.
