Patel 1 Nand Patel Mrs. Aguigui-Walton Honors English II 5/28/2017 Dear Congress, As a sophomore attending Ragsdale High School, I came to the conclusion that the school system of America kills creativity of millions of children every day. Firstly, most students only care about getting the questions right on the tests to get a good grade then they will forget about the material until they are forced to learn it yet again, this creates a mindset of temporary memory in which a student remembers one thing for a specific time and then forgets it later on. Secondly, we educate students by badges, work for long hours, and tell them what to do and what not to, these are industrial age values that are really important for factory workers, matter of fact, our current school system was set up in the late 1800 and early 1900, to meet our industrial economy. Their success depend on following instructions and doing exactly what they’re told.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
