Running head: STIMULATING AGING ACTIVITY 1 Stimulating Physical Decline Having respect for everyone is what I have always grown up believing in, but from doing this assignment it has made me have even more respect for this age group. In this assignment, I put cotton balls in my ears, wore gloves with cotton balls on my fingertips, took out my contacts and put cotton balls in my nostrils. This gave me the perspective of what it feels like when your body has aged. The cotton balls in my ears declined my hearing, the gloves and cotton balls gave me less feeling in my fingers, without my contacts I’m legally blind and last the cotton balls in my nostrils made it a little harder to breathe. I did this activity in my backyard and at my neighbor’s house. My backyard contains steps, trees, shade and light and a patio set. My neighbor’s house is two stories and has multiple rooms, along with a huge backyard. While doing this activity in my backyard I noticed that sound of wind was very soft, but I could hear the louder sounds like the leaves moving around. Walking was difficult, because
