Hello Brianna, Thanks for your post and of a truth you were right to say that the population groups of women and children face greater challenges than the general population in accessing and financing health, putting them at increasing risks of poor health status. This is true as women and children have high rates of these predisposing characteristics. Although women in the United States now enjoy a life expectancy more than that of men, they suffer great morbidity and poorer health outcomes than their male counterparts and on the other hand, children’s health has certain unique aspects in terms of the delivery of health care as they depend on their parents, school officials, caregivers, and sometimes neighbors to discover their need for health care, seek health care services on their behalf, authorize treatment, and comply with recommended treatment regimens. These relationships can affect the utilization of health services by children (Shi & Singh, 2013).

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
