In Denmark, the weather is only so-so and they are heavy drinkers and smokers, and yet they are the happiest nation in the world trumping placing like the United States and Europe. Although we are wealthier than them and pay less taxes to our government, compared to their 50%, the people of Denmark are content and satisfied with their lives. There is an apparent Production Possibilities Curve; the more happier and stress free you want to be, the less income you make. In this situation, the opportunity costs would be higher paying jobs and lower taxes.
