CHCECE001:
This co-assessment will strengthen your knowledge of cultural competency. It will also
help you to understand, accept and support other cultures in various ways including settings in early
childhood.
CHCDIV001:
This co-assessment will assist you to appreciate diversity and inclusivity.
It will enhance
your communication skills with people from diverse backgrounds.
It will also help you to build
relationships with children and their families in Early Childhood Education and Care services.
CHCDIV002:
This co-assessment will support your knowledge of cultural safety in an early childhood
setting in regard to Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people.
You will develop strategies to
enhance cultural safety in the workplace.
This written report will assess performance evidence, knowledge evidence and the following
elements:

Reflect on your own family background/history and significant events which may have
influenced your current values, beliefs and personal identity.
In my country people like and sometime need help to other people. Sharing the food on
the table and the food with anyone who needs it, we are accustomed and raised in that way.
People talk with everyone on the bus ( taxi, restaurant, shopping, they talk with everyone in
everywhere)
Educate myself wherever possible to enhance my understanding and to address the needs of
culturally diverse children. This may involve learning bout cultural, psychological, and historical
material specific to the particular ethnic group being served.
