ECOMAP AND GENOGRAM RELATIONSHIP2The Smith/Lewis FamilyMy family eco map and genogram is based off of my interview of the Smith family.TheSmith family is a blended family with one child each from previous marriages.Donald was 37years old, married for several years and had a daughter who was 3 when he divorced due toirreconcilable differences and met Laura.Laura was 35 years old had been previously marriedat the age of 18 for 3 years and then divorced due to domestic violence; she had a daughter priorto their marriage and was single mother for several years prior to meeting Donald when herdaughter was 6.Both Don and Laura grew up in Ohio.Donald worked as a supervisor over anelectrical supply company and Laura worked as a baker within a hospital nutrition servicesdepartment.Laura’s daughter Alicia would become pregnant at the age of 15 with her daughterKelly and then again at age 17 with her son Marc.There was no long term relationship with thechildren’s father, but he did remain active, present and supportive of his children.This wasdefinitely a trying and difficult time for her and her parents.This meant a lot of change andadjustment for all in the household.
