Executive Summary Nike is an American corporation, and also one of the world’s leading designer, marketer and distributor of athletic footwear, apparel, equipment, and accessories for a wide variety of sports and fitness activities. It is well known in youth and hip-hop culture for its urban fashion clothing. Nike’s mission is to bring inspiration and innovation to every athlete in the world. Nike Inc. specializes in the fast pace industry of athletic footwear, apparel, and equipment. This industry is strongly competitive which exposes Nike to overlook the risks of managing positive employee relations. This gives the company a damaging reputation. On top of the hostile work environment towards its employees, the problem within the organizational culture Nike Inc. is facing also has a negative impact on minorities and female promotion probability. Another problem being faced by Nike Inc. is Global Human Resources Management Strategy. The main concern with human resource management is offering equal wages, health, and safety based on the employee’s position between all areas of the company. Due to that, the employees feel discriminated against, which ties into managing employee relations. Every company/corporation faces problems, but with every struggle there are ways to fix it. Nike incorporation can have their employees take different types of training to improve the relationships between the staff. They can also change the culture of the company and authorize blind resume reviews to avoid discrimination. Since Nike is one of the world’s leading innovators, they need to make sure that their image is impeccable. Corporate image, or reputation, describes the manner in which outsiders perceive a company, its activities, and its products or services.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
