2.5 Food Safety Work File Directions: Read the lesson and answer the following questions in sections 1 - 4. Section 1 Review the four simple food safety steps of clean, separate, cook, and chill. Use Resource 1 to complete this section. (40 points) Explain how your household manages these steps. Provide details explaining how your household is successful and unsuccessful below. Use at least 2 complete, detailed sentences for each of the 4 steps. A. Ways my household is successful 1. My mom always make sure I don’t put meat and veggies in the same drawer in the fridge. 2. We check the temperature of our fridge every week. B. Ways my household is unsuccessful 3. We don’t cook at safe temperatures, the food is cooked at very high temps. So, it can cook faster. 4. Eggs sometimes sit out, but that’s after they are boiled and the tend to go bad. Section 2 Review the Baby Boomers and Food Safety digital poster. Use Resource 2 to complete this section. (30 points)
