In this article “Coke Zero’s Drinkable Advertising Push Looks to Get Millennials Sampling by Marty Swant”, is about how coke plans to get millennial generation that have never tried coke zero to drink Coke Zero. Coke patterned with Sham and ESPN College Game Day to advertise Coke-Zero. Coke uses the app Shazam, which is a music app to allow the person to hear the sound of Coca Cola as it is being poured into a glass of ice during a commercial. The affect of Coca Cola using Shazam allowed them to draw in more millennial because of apps, and smartphones. The commercial is played on ESPN College Game Day because it meets their needs of their target market such as college students to get them thinking about serving Coca Cola for the next game and competing with each other to get the coke first. The topic of having a target is very important because it gives the company a strategy as to where to focus their attention and to meet their goal of a higher profit. Based off of Coca Cola
