05.04 New Land!—411 File Part 1: Answer Questions Use information from the lesson to answer these questions. You may write phrases or draw pictures to help  you learn. Why did people move west?   Land and Gold      - West had a lot of cheap land to offer.    They move to the West because they wanted to make  a better living. Others received  letters from friends or family members who have moved West . How did they get there?  They had a choice either too follow Santa Fe Trail or the Oregon Trail that will  lead  you West, the Oregon Trail is about 2,170 miles long and the Santa Fe Trail is about  869.9 miles if I had a choice it would be Santa Fe Trail instead of Oregon Trail because if I trying to get where faster I would take Santa Fe Trail . What was the journey like?

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

I cannot even describe how much Course Hero helped me this summer. It’s truly become something I can always rely on and help me. In the end, I was not only able to survive summer classes, but I was able to thrive thanks to Course Hero.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
