Type 1 Diabetes Diabetes is a condition where the pancreas produces too much or too little insulin. There are many different treatments for type 1 diabetes. Living a healthy lifestyle, eating proper foods, exercising, and taking prescribed medications can help lower insulin levels and can sometimes help the patient not be diabetic anymore. Symptoms of diabetes type 1 are consistent thirst, frequent urination, hunger, fatigue, and blurred vision. Individuals who have type 1 diabetes they are insulin dependent and require insulin therapy daily. Patients who suffer from type 1 diabetes also have to check their blood sugar levels on a regular basis. The compliance regimen is the term for treatment for diabetes. This can be any of the therapies among the medications the physician gives to the patient. It is important to make sure that if you are suffering from diabetes that you do everything your doctor tells you to do. This involves taking the medication properly, testing blood glucose levels regularly, and making sure that you have a balanced diet along with regular exercising.
