Getting old can be terrifying because as you get old, a day will come that you will sleepand never wake up again. As we get old, a lot of things like bad health that are unfavorable happen to our body mechanism and somethings; these things can be beyond our control. Unfortunately, there's nothing we can do as a human to prevent ourselves from getting old; we can only take care of ourselves and get old in grace. The fear of losing someone is the worst thing ever, especially someone that we love or close to us, and it's clear that this poem is personalto Dylan.
