So the bus ticket cost \$2.65 and he takes it four days a week and his water cost \$1.45 and he also buys it four times a week the equation would be 4x(\$5.80 + 1.45) = 4(\$5.80) + (\$1.45) = (\$5.80+ \$21.20)= \$27.45 3. According to the 2010 FIVB (Federation Internationale de Volleyball) Rules casebook, the playing court is the area bounded by the court lines. Each side of the court is a rectangle Measuring 8 meters by 4 meters. Draw a picture and label the dimensions of the entire court. Then use the distributive property to find the area of the playing court. So to do this we multiply the area of the rectangle so its 8 x 4 = 32 so each side of the court is 32 meters So its (32 + 32) = 64 or 8(4 + 4) = 64
