1) Intelligent design is the claim that "certain features of the universe and of living things are best explained by an intelligent cause, not an undirected process such as natural selection ." It is not considered to be a science because the theory is not clearly defined. The issue stems from the following questions: Can intelligent design be defined as science? If so, does the evidence support it and related explanations of the history of life on Earth? If the answer to either question is negative, is the teaching of such explanations appropriate and legal in public education, specifically in science classes? As of right now the public consensus of the scientists is that it is not a Science as no one can prove the existence of god and furthermore prove that he is the “intelligent designer” behind all that is known to men kinds. The theory of evolution on the other hand proves to be more feasible as scientists possess many evidence, theories and laws that can explain it. 7)
