CASE STUDY 2 Case Study Ana is a female aged 24 years and currently, she lost her job and claim that she also lost about 10 pounds indication that she may be suffering from a post-traumatic stress disorder a condition which is characterized by fear, stress, and anxiety. It is clear because according to the report Ana claims that she is afraid of becoming homeless and also claims that her brain can’t stop thinking and she is worried all the time. According to Ana situation counseling is recommended where counseling as Guez and Allen is defined in their article is the “relationship between a concerned person and a person with a need.” Through counseling Ana can increase an insight into the origins and advance of emotional worries, leading to an increased ability to yield balanced control over her feelings and engagements (Guez and Allen, n.d). Also, it will equip Ana with skills and knowledge which will enable her, to antagonize to social insufficiency. Thus, to her, a personal/social counseling is an advisable method which deals with emotional distress and behavioral difficulties (Guez and Allen, n.d). Psychoanalytical therapy Upon arrival to counseling session client history when taken it clearly shows the behavior of Ana and how she looked depressed and anxious.
