Bains 2We can add two vectors by using the method of “head to tail”,the head of vector A to the tail of vector B. Then the resultant vector Rwould be from the tail of vector A to head of vector B just like in theadjacent figure.Analytical Representation of vector sum:Rx=Ax+BxRy=Ay+By.R=√Rx+Ry =(Ax+Bx)2+(Ay+By)2θ=tan−1(Ry/Rx) = tan−1Ay+ByAx+BxForce Table: The force is the apparatus which helps usmeasure the resultant force’s reaction force, i.e., a force that is equal in magnitude but opposite(+/-1800) in direction.
