GCSS-ARMY SELF-REGISTRATION

Purpose: To create a personnel record in GCSS-Army for all SCARNG
Personnel. This is required for all personnel, whether identified as a
future GCSS-Army user or equipment operator.
•
Recommendation: Have the unit’s SAMS-E computer set up in the
same area for the purpose of validating that the Soldiers’ personnel
data in SAMS-E matches the data input into GCSS-Army. Required
fields to validate are:
UIC – Soldier’s SAMS-E data must be loaded in the UIC of Self-Registration
Name – Last, First, Middle Initial, Suffix
Date of Birth
Personal Data – Height, Weight, Hair and Eye Color

Insert Soldier’s CAC (Military, Civilian, or Contractor) into a reader
attached to the computer.

they work under full-time, not Mday-USAR
