IMPORTANT DEFINITIONS/BACKGROUND INFO GE Foods: GE means genetic engineering or modification of something and in the case of foods, it is a method used to modify foods for reasons non related to peoples health benefit. Organic Food: are foods that are produced without being modified artificially or genetically. Pesticides: are chemicals used for pest control on plants.
