The US ranks number one in firearms per capita. For each country that I just listed, the articles talk about the way ways each of them take precautions to lower their gun violence. For example, in Canada is it required to obtain a license to buy guns and in Australia you are also required to obtain a license as well as a “genuine need” for each gun you want to purchase. According to the analysis that are presented in the article, these measures have been effective.
