VARK Analysis PaperLearning styles vary from one person to another. VARK is an acronym used to discussfour leaning modalities (visual, aural, read/write, and kinesthetic). It is a questionnaire composedof 16 questions where the individual can select single or multiple answers regarding differentscenarios. The questionnaire serves as a guide to help distinguish which modality will help aperson learn best to be more successful. In the following this writer will discuss VARK results,preferred learning strategies compared to the identified strategies, and how implementing theseresults will influence teaching and learning.After taking the VARK questionnaire this writer’s result determined a multimodalstrategy preference with the aural and kinesthetic being the top two modalities. A multimodallearner is one who does not have one specific learning style, however, may need to use severalmodalities to achieve optimal success in learning.According to the VARK results, this writer’s dominant modality is aural scoring a total often points. “Learners who have this as their main preference report that they learn best fromlectures, group discussion, radio, email, using mobile phones, speaking, web-chat and talkingthings through”("The VARK Modalities", 2018).Conversating with others about the topics andlectures is one of the aural strategies given by the VARK website and notes other helpful tips
