5/7/2009 Elec 123 Professor Bourque Caleb Baron Preface: The purpose of this lab was to prove the theory of superposition. To do this we calculated the values of the voltages across the resistors in a circuit using the superposition method and then compared these values to measured values of the circuit when we built it. The given values for this circuit included the values for all resistors and for all voltage sources. Using these values we calculated the current in each branch with each voltage source operating separately (superposition method). With these current values obtained, we were then able to solve for the voltage across each resistor using simple calculations (V=IR). Upon calculating the voltage values, we then proceeded to build the drawn circuit with each voltage source operating separately. The necessary values were then measured,
